Your college journey starts here.
You have big ideas and even bigger ambitions. We want to help you make them a reality.
The WashU College Prep Program (CPP) supports committed high school students from the St. Louis area – especially those who will be the first in their family to attend college and whose families might have limited income.
CPP is offered at no cost to participants. We focus on getting you ready for graduation, applying to colleges, and much more. We host fun learning experiences, helpful workshops to grow your skills, a special Summer Academy, and even the opportunity to earn college credit!
Join a community of committed, local scholars like you.
As a CPP Scholar, you’ll join a group of bright, eager students like yourself. You’ll have year-round activities and a personal support team. We want you to leave CPP ready to shine, both in your studies and in your social life, at the college or university that’s the perfect fit for you.
Because even though we’re part of WashU, you don’t have to go to WashU after the program – you can apply to any college you choose!

What’s it like to be part of the College Prep Program?

WashU CPP brought me out of my shell. I have developed many solid friendships throughout these years through projects, community building, living in the same spaces, and more. Being able to make friends will greatly contribute to my college life, and for that I am forever grateful.

From the beginning, CPP has pushed community within the program and with those around us. Everyone’s different aspirations are inspiring. The community brings a sense of belonging as it is very encouraging, and our cohort loves celebrating each other’s successes.
